About Corey Hoch

He is a lifelong resident of the Eastern Shore. He was born and raised in Salisbury, MD, where he still resides today. He also enjoys spending as much time as possible at his family condo in Ocean City. After going to James M Bennett High School, Corey attended James Madison University where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Business.

 

After graduating college, Corey played minor league baseball in the Baltimore Orioles organization, including playing 2 years with the hometown Delmarva Shorebirds. Following his baseball career, he went on to get his license to be a Residential Real Estate Appraiser. Corey has been appraising residential properties in the local area for 15+ years and is currently a Certified Residential Appraiser. In addition to appraising, he previously spent 2 years as a Mortgage Loan Officer. Ready for a new challenge combined with his love and knowledge of the real estate industry, Corey received his Real Estate Salesperson License and joined Coastal Life Realty Group in 2020.

 

Corey’s favorite times are spent with his wife (Jenna), daughter (Laney) and son (Keller). He also enjoys golfing, beach days and attending all of his kids activities. In addition, he is involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which is very dear to his heart, as his son, Keller, was diagnosed with CF in 2012 at the age of 2. Corey and his family have held numerous CF fundraisers, including an annual Team Keller Golf Classic, which raises money and awareness to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Corey donates a portion of each sales transaction to the CF Foundation (or clients charity of choice).

 

Corey is truly invested in the Eastern Shore of Maryland. His experience in the appraising and mortgage industry combined with his familiarity with the Salisbury-Ocean City area will be assets to both buyers and sellers.
