"In summer 2011 I drove by a cono that was for sale and called the number to inquire about the price. During our conversation Dave agreed to meet me at the unit in 15 minutes to provide me a tour. Although the unit did not fit my needs, Dave gathered information about what I was looking for and arranged to have periodic targeted listings that met my needs sent to my e-mail. The porcess of receivning e-mails was extermely helpful and not intrusive at all. At no time did Dave ever try to pressure me or push a process that was unwanted. In fall 2012 one of the listings Dave sent was of interest to me. Dave arranged a 1/2 day tour for my wife and I of various properties that were similar to the listing. Dave's expertise and knowledge of the market was extremely high. He was able to provide detailed answers to many questions and offered very thoughtful and professional advice as to potentail pluses and minus of each propoerty. By the end of the day my wife and I found a property that we thought best fit our needs. Dave provided an in-depth market analysis of similar properties to aid our understanding of the market. He further provided keen insight into details that would be important to the propsective negotiation that would arise from my offer. Ultimatly the seller elected to elongate the negotiation. In response Dave and I agreed to adopt a "patient" response that included seeing other properties that would be of interest should the seller elect not to move toward my offer price. This counsel was critical as it insulated me from following a natural "emotional" approach and chase my own bid. Over time the "patient" approach prevailed and my wife and I purchased the house at the price we targeted at the outset of the purchasing process. Once the contract was signed, Dave was fully engaged to ensure closing was timely and without issue. He provided me a list of professional contacts for all elements of the close. He was attentive and checked in regulalry to ensure I was on track with what I needed. All of this lead to a seemless closing. Prior to working with Dave I had never had a truly positive experience with a real estate agent. Quite simply, an agent was just a neccessary evil of a real estate transaction. After woking with Dave I now know what the "gold" standard is!
